With over 25 years of experience in education and business development as well as independent consultancy, Leisa has a broad knowledge base and an extensive range of experiences and skills. Leisa possesses a strong commitment to developing relationships with key stakeholders.
After working in regional communities, Leisa developed skills in entrepreneurialism as a way of connecting and sustaining her community which led her to complete a Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) to assist her skills in strategic management, innovation and corporate governance.
Leisa is also a qualified coach and has worked for Harvard University in the areas of leadership and data management. Leisa’s non-executive board member experience spans over fifteen years across education, healthcare as well as giving her time freely for not-for-profit entities and organisations like Zonta International.
Leisa utilises an outcomes-based approach and engages with critical and creative thinking attributes through a systems approach in her work. She has led organisations with more than 200 staff with key achievements being financial sustainability, improved key outcomes, development of resources through grant applications as well as philanthropic work and expansion of business operations.
